You will receive the attention and care that’s necessary for long-term success, meaning little-to-no weight regain and efforts to prevent possible nutritional or other health issues.

State-of-the-art minimally invasive weight loss surgery

Our team offers all available surgical weight loss procedures: Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, traditional and modified duodenal switch, Lap-Band®procedure, vertical sleeve gastrectomy, and the Orbera® Intragastric Balloon. Dr. Josh Roller, Dr. Yong Kwon, Dr. Jaime Dutton, and Dr. Jessica Pries perform all of these procedures using advanced, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques.

A faster, more comfortable recovery and superior results

These techniques lead to a much quicker recovery and much less pain than the other traditional methods. Our facilities are state-of-the-art, and patients have the benefit of private rooms during their brief hospital stays.

Fellowship-trained bariatric surgeons with exceptional skills

Our team of surgeons is the only group of fellowship-trained bariatric surgeons in Arkansas and Oklahoma, performing more than 99% of procedures using minimally invasive surgical techniques. We have served patients primarily from Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma, southern Missouri, and southeastern Kansas.

Weight loss surgery goals: Live better, healthier, and longer

The goal of weight loss surgery is to help you live better, healthier, and longer. Weight loss surgery (or bariatric surgery) is a major decision, meaning that many things must be considered by both the surgeon and the patient before moving forward with the procedure.

The surgery can contribute to major weight loss and improvement of obesity-related health problems, but you will have to make behavioral and dietary changes to achieve lasting weight loss results.

Weight loss surgery is a life-changing procedure

Weight loss surgery is not cosmetic surgery. It is a life-saving procedure. Successful weight loss surgery often results in better mobility, more energy, and greater confidence. The true goal of the surgery, however, is to restore your health.

Step one: Our free online seminar

We invite you to watch one of our seminars to learn more from our surgeons and professional staff. They will be able to clearly answer your questions and explain the details of the procedure, the recovery, and the changes you will need to make to have successful results.

Your first appointment at Roller Weight Loss & Advanced Surgery

During your first appointment at Roller Weight Loss & Advanced Surgery, you will meet with our bariatric medical specialist for an extensive medical evaluation. All the appropriate tests will be performed at this appointment and any necessary consultations from other specialists will be conducted. In addition, you will meet with one of our bariatric dietitians to review both pre- and post-op nutritional plans. You will also be evaluated by our bariatric psychologist if clinically indicated or required by your insurance company.

We help you thrive

It’s important to remember that there are no absolute guarantees when it comes to any type of medicine or surgery. There can be unexpected outcomes in even the simplest procedures. That being said, we believe that weight loss surgery will succeed when you make a lifelong commitment to increasing your activity level, eating healthier, and attending all of the required follow-up appointments at our office. We want to watch you thrive, so we offer as much assistance as you may need along the way — including monthly support groups and an active online patient community.
